It may sound silly that things such as furniture and decorations can make such a difference in selling a home- since they are not included in the sale.  But they DO.  Buyers subconsciously buy homes that make them "feel" good.  When walking into a messy, poorly arranged, or cluttered home, buyers don't feel the same as they would walking into that same house, sparkling clean and nicely decorated, with fresh flowers on the table!  Think about it: where would YOU want to live?

Staging also helps with akward or unique spaces.  Rather than wondering where the couch would go, or wondering what a particular room or space is for, buyers are shown a livable, special space, with no "weirdness."
